Hello and welcome my name is Julian Stafford and I am the company founder here at Grow Funding. People often ask me why I set up the company? and what makes it different?. After some consideration and reflection the answers was clear! I want to empower small and medium businesses and help the UK’s economy grow for the next generation. I remember walking down the high street and seeing the big banks, it made me think, how much do they help our independent businesses? and if they can't help what options do the SMEs have?.
I completed a business degree in London and then started working at RBS. After learning so much I wanted to explore the alternative funding market and that is where Grow Funding Ltd was created.
I have two wonderful children and each day they make me reflect on the future. I want them to grow up in a world where family businesses still exist and a world where many opportunities are available in independent companies.
The thing that makes Grow Funding different is the amount of companies we have saved. Many business owners have come to me, stressed and worried for one reason or another. Invoice factoring for Essex based building company
This company had been awarded a large value contract with a London borough council to install new kitchens and bathrooms into their residential council properties. With limited funds in the bank to cover the cost of labour and materials, Grow Funding arranged a suitable Invoice factoring facility to allow the business to release cash tied up in their outstanding invoices. This means going forward at the point of them giving the invoice to the council they can factor the invoice to provide them with cash in the bank to cover their cash flow needs. An initial facility size of £165,000 was set up with view to this growing over time.
